Welcome to Kapiti Camera Club

The Kapiti Camera Club is home to recreational and semi-professional photographers in Porirua and the surrounding areas. Our members have a wide range of experience and expertise and use the full spectrum of cameras: large and small; film and digital; expensive and basic.

We meet on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday of each month, starting at 19.30, in the grounds of historic Gear Homestead, where we entertain guest speakers, hold competitions and have "hands-on" sessions of practical training. We have a dark room with full facilities and an extensive library of photographic titles. Occasional trips are arranged to other parts of the country to find new places of photographic interest.

Members are encouraged to participate in the running of the club and visitors are welcome.
